Chemical & Industrial Labels

Chemical and Industrial Labels must be strong and non reactive to most chemicals, oil and water. Polyester (Vinyl) stock is recommended when printing industrial labels. Vinyl labels do not tear easily and as industrial substance information has to be easily and clearly read even after many months and sometimes even years it is important that these labels stand the test of time.

Labels can be printed on transparent polypropylene stock where transparency is required to view the contents of the bottle or jar.

A protective clear polyester over-laminate film can be applied to the stock to give a matt, semi gloss or gloss finish.

Temperature and humidity can be an important factor in choosing the adhesive and the print stock for your particular application. Certain adhesives (glues) are suited to where the products are to be stored. If the area is in a humid or wet area, special glue will be required to stop peeling taking place. This also applies to extremes of hot and cold conditions.
